How to measure my bra size at home?

    • calendar_today

Wearing the wrong bra size doesn’t just affect how you look—it can impact how you feel all day. From slipping straps to back pain, many common frustrations come from an ill-fitting bra. But the good news? Measuring your correct size at home is easier than you think.

Here’s how to do it step by step:

    1. Get Ready to Measure

For the most accurate results, take your measurements while wearing a non-padded, unlined bra—or no bra at all. You’ll also need a soft measuring tape and a mirror to help check the tape placement.

    2. Measure Your Band Size

Wrap the measuring tape snugly around your ribcage, just under your bust. Make sure the tape is level all the way around and not too tight or too loose.
📏 Write down this number in inches. If it’s an odd number, round up to the nearest even number.
    Example: 33" → 34 band size

    3. Measure Your Bust Size

Next, measure around the fullest part of your bust—this is usually in line with your nipples. The tape should be gently placed (not digging in), and stay level front to back.

📏 Write down this number too.

    4. Calculate Your Cup Size

Subtract your band size (step 2) from your bust measurement (step 3). Each inch of difference equals one cup size:

    • 1 inch = A cup

    • 2 inches = B cup

    • 3 inches = C cup

    • 4 inches = D cup

    • 5 inches = DD/E cup

    • And so on…

    Example: Bust 40" – Band 34" = 6" → DDD/F cup
